Ethnobotany study of invasive alien plant species 'Passiflora edulis' and its economic role for the local community of Sarongge Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java

In the area of Mount Gede Pangrango National Park. This species is easy and fast to breed, so it often damages or changes the location it inhabits. The "konyal" ethnobotany research in Sarongge village, Cianjur, West Java was carried out to reveal the utilization, socio-economic role, and interaction of the inhabitants of the community around the forest area. Research using ethnobotany method. The results obtained using of konyal fruit as medicine, alternative food, and mixtures for animal feed. Its socio-economic role supports the life of the community around the area, and the interaction of the inhabitants of the area helps to protect the conservation area while utilizing it.
